Primary Health Care Agency is a government organization dedicated to providing comprehensive, accessible, and affordable health care services to all members of our community. Established in 2005, we have been at the forefront of health initiatives and preventive care programs.
Our network includes 25 health centers, 3 mobile clinics, and partnerships with 5 major hospitals to ensure that quality health care is within reach for everyone. We serve over 100,000 patients annually through our various programs and initiatives.

To establish a healthcare system that effectively addresses the health needs of the people of Jigawa State, aligns with the principles of Universal Health Coverage, and empowers citizens to live healthier and more fulfilling lives.
Our mandate is to accelerate the development of Primary Health Care structures and services across the state, ensure the equitable distribution of health facilities, and facilitate the implementation of “Community Health Insurance” in collaboration with the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS).
